Braemar’s next stop into the heart of Northern Spain was Aviles. With it’s colourful architecture and bustling medieval streets, vibrant bars, restaurants and tapas bars it was a delight to spend a day wandering around.
Today Fred Olsen’s Braemar made history as the longest ever ship to cruise through Greece’s Corinth Canal. The canal is 25 metres wide, with limestone walls and connects the Gulfs of Corinth and Saronic in the Aegean Sea.
I wasn’t lucky enough to be there. My partner was and he took these amazing pictures.
I spent an amazing summer hopping the Greek Islands as a seventeen year old. I am restless for a repeat journey.
‘The Malaga Terral wind is a hot wind that comes out of the interior from north to south picking up heat as it travels overland.’
Terral Burger and Drinks on the beachfront in Malaga, catches that Terral wind as it reaches the sea.
It’s just a fabulous place to sit and have a coffee or a beer. Good vibes, good service and it goes without saying that the views are stunning.
