Looking for Alaska by John Green

Alaska annoyed me. Irritating, drama queen, attention seeking- these are a few of the adjectives that spring to mind. I guess, therefore, that John Green has achieved what he set out to do; create a character that, whether you like her or not, has been believable enough to create feelings and an opinion in me as a reader. Not really a John Green fan- I prefer David Levithan in the YA category- I’m nevertheless glad I made it to the end of the book.
